POSITION SUMMARY :
Accountable for all the NASH project quality activities (for Oil & Gas / Chemical segment) for India & Middle East region (For Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump/Compressor & Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps). Also to support Europe/other global customers wherever required.
Project Quality Engineer (PQE) shall work closely with project engineering team (PMT) , customer & supplier to deliver an effective, efficient, and proactive Project Quality Management System to enable project success. This shall include developing the quality strategies, Quality Plan, processes, standards and systems for the project.
Will identify, develops maintain, and verify implementation of the project quality initiatives and activities within a project assignment. PQE shall develop project quality program/plan and manage, and coordinate activities associated with it.
Will have exposure and understanding of engineering, environmental, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning processes on a project. He/ She will maintain client liaison and communication for project quality related activities.
Job Responsbilities:
Develop a detailed project quality plan (ITP/QAP) based on the customer specification, customer ITP, NASH’s standard & and implement quality control procedures and policies for NASH ETO package projects.
Preparing the Quality/Inspection requirement for the bought out components based on the master ITP & communicating the same to the supplier.
Co-coordinating with customer for the ITP/Quality procedure’s on time approvals.
Reviewing the supplier’s ITP & procedures & providing necessary comments/approvals
Visiting supplier shop for the inspection related activities & conducting the same based on the approved QAP/Procedures
Co-ordination between our Supply chain/Incoming quality team for necessary dispatch clearance to the supplier
Co-ordinating with Internal QC team/manufacturing team for completing the internal Inspection related activities & offering the same to the customer.
Co-ordinating the customer inspection related activities & following up with customer nor necessary dispatch clearances.
Co-ordinating with sales team for customer plant Audit related activities.
Implementation of best Quality practices during the package designing & manufacturing
Work closely with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that quality requirements are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide inputs to project team about feasibility of accepting Client Quality requirement, Lead the communication with client to discuss and resolve all Quality related points.
Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Visiting to customer place for project related Quality discussion for concluding the issues during the project execution and getting necessary approvals on Quality Plan / ITP etc.
Co-ordination between supplier & customer for stage wise/final inspection activities.
Monitor project progress to ensure that quality standards are being maintained and that deadlines are met with.
Provide guidance, training and support to project teams on quality management issues.
Must be having exposure WPS, PQR, and WPQ, Understands and have handled the MOC’s like Handled welding of different materials such as Gr. 304L, Gr. 316L, Duplex, carbon steel, alloy steel & non-ferrous materials.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them
Manage and report on quality performance metrics to senior management
Ensure that all quality-related documentation is maintained and up-to-date.
Perform and provide RCA report for customer complaints post-delivery of package.
Qualification & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Diploma In Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field with 6-10 years of experience in a quality management role, with exposure to client interaction and project requirements and specifications
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is highly desirable, preferred personnel having Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, oil & gas industrial knowledge, exposures to valves, instruments, motors & rotary component.
Personnel with be RT, LPT, MPT Level II Certification will be preferred.
Should be familiar with ASME Sec. IX, Sec. V and Sec. II, Sec XIII & AWS D1.1, IS, ISO, CHINESE, API, HEI & PNEUROPE standards
Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools, including ISO 9001 and Six Sigma • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and vendors
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software tools
