Job & Division Summary:
Ingersoll Rand Vacuum and Low pressure division includes our key brands Robuschi (PD Blowers, Screw Blowers, Turbo blowers) and Elmo-Rietschle (Rotary vane pumps, Claw pump, Liquid Ring pump, and Side channel blower). These products are used in variety of application in the industries like textiles, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Food, Healthcare Products, Diary, Chemicals, Automobile, Medical, Plastic, Cement, Steel etc. We are in a journey to become the number one supplier of vacuum and low pressure rotating equipment solutions for liquid, air and gas in global markets critical to prevention of life.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualization and deployment of territory strategies aligned with region & country strategy.
Territory mapping and coverage of the entire South India directly as well as thru dealers.
Development of uncovered and inadequately covered areas/customers in the region.
Responsible for territory’s sales forecasting and tracking.
Update of market and competition information, presentation and utilization to devise sales strategies.
Controlling of receivables and collection of statutory documents.
Lead generation.
Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
Handling business segments like Wastewater/Effluent treatment, Pharma & Process Industries, Cements will be an added advantage
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ready to travel as per organization’s need on South India basis (20 to 25%)
Computer Proficient. Good at Microsoft Excel.
Sales promotional activities like technical seminars, presentations, exhibitions in the territory.
Must have managed sales in this territory for at least 3 years.
Mandatory Skills
Experience in Direct Sales (Preferably Utility Capital Equipment i.e. Blower, Compressor, Vacuum Pump, Heavy Machinery etc.) Wastewater/Effluent treatment, Pharma & Process Industries
Candidates having sales experience of the Southern Market
Desired skills:
Experience in Cements will be an added advantage
Qualification and experience:
8-10 Years of experience
B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Engineers from other streams can be considered if combined with relevant experience
