About the role:

As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for purchase of materials and managing vendor relationships enabling smooth and timely functioning of the production process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Read drawings and understand the various components required to produce furniture.
• Organise and manage a huge library of catalogues and price lists.
• Organise and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) for day to day orders.
• Send out Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to suppliers and get comparative quotes.
• Negotiate with suppliers and finalise the Proforma Invoices (PIs) with full understanding of item details, pricing, HSN codes, corresponding taxes, delivery timelines, and payment terms and ensure correctness of data.
• Prepare and send out Purchase Orders (POs) to the respective suppliers for the selected items within specified SLA.
• Manage all POs and track the arrival of materials from various suppliers.
• Coordinate with various internal teams to validate and update on deliveries and payments.
• Own the end-to-end process of the purchase process.
• Timely address the customer, vendor and internal teams escalations and contribute towards a better customer experience.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of work-experience in procurement/purchase roles in the interiors/furniture industry.
• Knowledge of materials in the interiors/furniture industry. Willingness to learn about new materials.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of ownership and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheet is a must.
• Good written and verbal communication skills – English.
• Willing to work 6 days a week.
• Willing to work in a fast paced environment.
