This is an open position for Cauvery Calling at Isha Foundation.

The foothills of the Velliangiri mountains, forty kilometers from the city of Coimbatore in South India, serve as home for the Isha Yoga Center. The Center is dedicated to fostering inner transformation and creating an established state of wellbeing in individuals. The large residential facility houses an active international community of brahmacharis, full-time volunteers and visitors. Established by Sadhguru as a powerful sthana (a center for inner growth), it is unique in its offering of all the four paths of yoga – gnana (knowledge), karma (action), kriya (energy) and bhakti (devotion). Every week, thousands of people converge at the center to seek out inner peace and wellbeing, making it a vibrant hub of spiritual growth and activity.

Purpose of the Job

Hand holding and guiding farmers in Tree-based-farming

Visiting farmers, helping them to select the suitable species and providing pre and post planting care

Periodic visits to the farms to guide farmers on best practices

Staying updated on various Agroforestry techniques

Job Responsibilities

Should be able to read and write in Kannada and write in English (basic reporting). Will be good if they can at least understand English if not speak.

Periodic reporting, timely escalation of issues, decision making skills

Need to have High energy, cheerful, enthusiastic individual with problem solving abilities

Should have a two wheeler with a valid license, willing to travel across the Taluk

Best if they have a degree in BSc Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany or any other related fields (Important for this role)

Preferred area of experience in farming, consultancy, Sales and Marketing (any other experience with people mobilization)

Required Competencies

Educational Qualification : Graduate

Skill Competencies : Sales experience: Prefer candidates with sales and marketing experience in rural areas – especially in agriculture related sectors (seeds, fertilizers, tractors, farm equipments etc.)

Experience : 0 ~ 3years
