RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transfer data from various sources into the ERP System
Update documentation and ERP system with new information as it becomes available
Maintain database of Manufacturer contact information. Create new location contact cards as needed as well as update the files as existing documents expire.
Establishes priorities for getting information into the system
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Contribute to the team effort by efficiently and accurately entering in inbound COA data to help ensure customers receive product which meets all their specs
Update existing documentation into updated formatting
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Sort, organize, and file paperwork after entering or transferring the data to ensure there is supporting documentation on file
Transfer data from various formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards data recorders or optical scanners
Scan through load documentation to identify pertinent information
Store hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
Comply with data integrity and security policies
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
2+ years of experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to type and enter data quickly and accurately
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
