The Marketing Generalist is responsible for the execution of multi-channel marketing of all ISMG’s business units, and to exceed commercial & strategic goals within a culture focused on results, accountability, relevance, innovation, quality, and speed to market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
Create, share, and measure content marketing activities. You will be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, increase the quality and quantity of inbound leads and to keep current accounts engaged
Analyzes and evaluates financial aspects of product development and collaborates in the development of new products.
Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
Plan the campaign activities assigned to you based on the set-back schedule to deliver marketing campaigns – on time, to budget.
Optimize the processes and look at innovative ways of optimizing the existing process, create and follow best practices to maintain high quality standards, and have a positive impact on campaigns.
Effectively manage internal & external stakeholders/partners to deliver campaigns
Be agile and flexible to deliver the best possible result and have a positive commercial impact on the global portfolios.
Make sure you are working as a part of the team, both regionally and globally to help achieve the larger marketing teams’ objectives.
Collaborate across the organization with our Events, Editorial, Design, Development teams to ensure the holistic content strategy aligns strongly with the brand and current sales priorities.
Manage and develop a blogging strategy, roadmap, and cadence.
Manage a content marketing budget.
Job Requirements:
Graduation required; MBA is a plus
2+ years’ experience in Marketing, with direct experience in marketing operations and/or working with the marketing centre of excellence in the business to business environment
Experience and skills within integrated, multi-channel marketing
Strong time management and project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Collaborative interpersonal skills, a must.
Strong written/oral communication skills
Superior time-management skills and ability to handle various concurrent projects with competing priorities.
A dual-minded approach: You are highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
Cursory knowledge of HTML and web-related technologies preferred.
