Roles and Responsibilities HI we have openings for GCP Infrastructure Administrator for Bangalore Location 10days joiners only.
Role: GCP Infrastructure Administrator
Experience: 5 – 8 Years
Location: Bangalore
Must have skills:
Hadoop Administrator skills – crystal clear understanding of Hadoop architecture and services. Maintenance and support of Hadoop services(YARN,HIVE,SPARK,ZOOKEEPER etc)
In-depth knowledge in linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and proficient experience in Unix shell scripting and Python .
Cloud Administration involving maintenance of IAM, cluster maintenance, compute engine for large scale & multi-tenet Data Analytics in Google Cloud Platform(Any other cloud experience is also welcome). Strong understanding of GCP services like Dataproc , GCS, Compute VM, Load balancer, BigQuery. Equivalent knowledge in any other cloud platform will also work.
Good to have:
Infrastructure open-source monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, ELK.
Hands on experience with Terraform,.
Good to have knowledge of Kafka for Streaming data
Understanding of Apache Airflow, Apache Livy, Jupyter hub
Experience in optimizing cloud cost of cloud resources.
Key Responsibilities & skillsets:
Delivery responsibilities in the areas of cloud network administration, security administration, instantiation, provisioning, optimizing the environment & third-party software support.
Implement security, operations best practices. Implement security best practices on multi-tenet environment & inter projects’ communication.
Monitoring compute resources consumption & key GCP services (BQ, VM, GCS)
Backup, Archive and Recovery planning and execution of the cloud-based analytics platform.
Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service.
Experience in optimizing cloud cost of cloud resources.
