ITC Limited Hiring for Logistics Manager at Greater Kolkata Area Full Time

Position – Manager, Warehouse Ops (Trade Marketing & Distribution Division)

Reports to – Regional Logistics Manager (2nd Appraiser – Head, Logistics Ops)

Location – Tamil Nadu & West Bengal (Greater Kolkata Region)

Experience – Candidate must have at least 2 yrs. experience in handling operations/projects preferably in the area of FMCG/Beverages/Pharma/ Any other industry with High throughputs. Educational Qualification –

• Preferably from Tier 1 colleges (MBA – NITIE / IIMs / IITs; Engg. – Electrical / Mechanical / Production from Tier 1 Engg. Colleges / Govt. Colleges) with a strong aptitude for learning.

Age – 24 to 30 years

Job Role –

In charge for the overall facility with direct reporting of operations and maintenance teams.

– Manage various compliances related to factory operations

– Operational coordination with the ICML factory team

– Manage performance and relationships with WSP and various transporters

– Manage various operational KPIs at warehouse level

– Monitor system performance against planned KPIs and reporting

– Ensure high standard of process and EHS hygiene

– Lead process improvement initiatives

– Ensure high availability of system and quick resolution of issues

– Provide inputs/ assist in automation projects planned for other sites

– Manage cost optimization initiatives

– Interfacing with external stakeholders

Technical Skill Requirement –

1. Strong engineering aptitude: The role requires a broad understanding of several disciplines of engineering since the resource will play a lead in technical acceptance and handling technical audits. Should have an understanding of design & working of electrical and mechanical systems, specifically, automated material handling equipment & utilities
2. Should be able to perform basic data analysis for equipment sizing and must be able to translate this into a technical RFQ
3. Should be able to handle negotiations and conduct financial analysis
4. Should have an understanding on best standards on EHS, specifically life, electrical and mechanical safety
5. Should have a basic understanding of project management principles to coordinate and execute a project having a large number of stakeholders

Professional Skill Requirement –

1. Analytical mindset: Required during the project stage and even later on to make data-based decision making and undertaking performance improvement initiatives. Well versed with Microsoft office skills
2. Strong people management skills for managing IR related issues.
3. Prior exposure to TPM/5S and similar systems preferred.
