SummaryLooking for a DevOps Engineer who is strong in DevOps activities including code integration and deployment of product builds and patches, and automating the process, and who can work closely with the development team, and other teams in easing the development and post-development activities.This position requires good DevOps experience of 1 year with experience in working in Java/J2EE projects. Further it requires good cross-functional team collaboration, multitasking and communication skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interact with developers and integrate the local developer branches and create Alpha/Beta builds Review, verify, validate, and merge/integrate the software product code using GitLab Maintain the GitLab tool for various products, and service components Release Alpha/Beta/Final builds on Test/Staging/UAT servers for QA Cycle. Setup the application environment and host the applications on local servers and cloud instances as per the requirements. Deployment/Release of major, minor and patch version of the product on production servers. Implement and maintain continuous integration & continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) and other appropriate tools for managing and automating post development activities. Identifying and deploying cyber-security measures on the application and infrastructure after external vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. Research, Analysis and Migration of the product to latest versions of technology platforms, database systems, and operating systems. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible. Technical documentation of the DevOps implementation in the product. Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications B. Tech/B. E./MCA/M. Tech. with 1 years of related work experience required. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure Experience in various tools such as Eclipse, GitLab, Jenkins, and other Configuration Management/DevOps tools. Basic understanding of SQL, Database, Java/J2EE development platform for performing DevOps activities. Knowledge in handling DevOps for a product would be a plus. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and scrum process would be a plusJob Type: Full-timeSalary: INR25,000.00 – INR35,000.00 per monthBenefits:
