Application/Production support (Unix based Application Support) – 3 to 6 yrs – Pune

About the Team

We have a 24×7 DCS group dedicated to production/Application support.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing support to clients and fixing job scripts for different service requests.

Offering technical support for a software production processing environment.

Installing, maintaining, and supporting application/source code and its components, including third-party software.

Detecting, diagnosing, and reporting related problems.

Analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, or known errors in application and supporting software components.

Assisting programming staff in the analysis of application software changes, performance, and resource consumption.

Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for application software support.

Providing 24-hour support for applications and supporting software.

Offering consultation to internal users regarding software capabilities and use.

Escalating incidents, problems, or known errors as needed to ensure timely resolution.

What You Bring:
Service Delivery Analyst – Providing 24 x 7 ASP support services to clients using hosted applications.

Skills:
Must-have – Unix

Added advantage – Shell scripting, job scheduler

ITIL processes

Ability to communicate ideas clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to different audiences, including executives

Working knowledge of applications and utilities used by supported products

Basic diagnostic techniques and problem-solving skills for day-to-day issues

Interpersonal skills, team building abilities, conflict management

Ability to analyze and solve problems using established techniques and tools, including escalation practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning

Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
