Hiring and onboarding of new employees with the help of concerned department head (setting up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.).
Organize and maintain personnel records.
Taking lead in building organizational culture by conducting team-building and engagement activities on monthly basis and retaining talent by ensuring employees are satisfied with their work environment with the help of feedback and assessment forms.
Update internal databases (e.g. attendance and leave management).
Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides.
Revise organisation policies.
Setting up new procedures for swift and smooth functioning.
Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues.
Handle payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules).
Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms.
Assisting in accounting by book-keeping, maintaining journal entries of expenditure in organised manner.
Creating strategies to retain talent.
Performing additional relevant tasks as assigned by the management.
Job specificationDesired profile
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role.
Ability to handle at least 30 employees for smooth HR and administration operation.
Having experience in a start-up will be an advantage.
Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS.
Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular).
Thorough knowledge of labour laws.
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.
Degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
