Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the business to understand priorities & requirements
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Innovate new ways of managing, sourcing, transforming and validating data
• Establish and enforce guidelines to ensure consistency, quality and completeness of data assets
• Apply quality assurance best practices to all work products
• Analyze, design and code business-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using an Agile programming approach resulting in software delivered on time and in budget
• Deeply passionate about learning and innovating using the latest and greatest in big data engineering, cloud
• Work in globally distributed team and follow agile development practices
• Comfortable in learning cutting edge technologies and applications to greenfield projects
• Provide support for existing application primarily developed using Java, Oracle
• Dependable, results oriented and possess excellent communicational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

Java, UI/UX

• 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing Java and open source applications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field
• Hands on experience writing microservices using Spring Boot
• Experienced in web services security related aspects
• RESTful API design, microservices architecture expertise
• Knowledge of application servers like Tomcat
• Knowledge on cloud native design principles
• Working experience in building and testing user interfaces in ReactJS and other modern Javascript technologies
• Business Driven and Test-driven development experience
• Understanding of SQL and related development under Oracle
• Familiar with CI/CD and SDLC development tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git/Stash etc
