As the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact reporting Professional, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
You will be part of the Paris / Net Zero Reporting Team and leverage your expertise to execute reporting, develop strategic solutions, work on end-to-end controls and provide value-add analysis supporting the progress toward the firm’s portfolio-level emissions intensity reduction targets.
As the Environmental, Social and Governance landscape evolves and becomes increasingly important to the firm, our (Line of Business) business activities and external stakeholders (clients, shareholders, regulators), the firm has established a Firm-wide ESG Commitment Reporting & Controller Team to manage end to end controls, consistency and accountability for Environment, Social and Governance internal and external reporting processes across the firm.
You will support the reporting of progress toward the portfolio level emissions intensity reduction targets. As a global financial institution, we have an important role to play and are committed to addressing energy and climate challenges, and providing financing and strategic advice and other services to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute and streamline existing manual reporting models for Paris-aligned / NZE industries/sectors (Oil & Gas, Power, Automotive, Aviation, Iron & Steel, Cement, etc.)
Perform analysis to support firm’s Paris-aligned financing and Net Zero portfolio intensity emissions targets working closely with Center for Carbon Transition and their business management teams
Develop deep understanding of components of Paris-aligned/Net Zero reporting and take end-to-end ownership
Enhance and automate existing processes with a control mind set using business intelligent solutions
Work with technology partners and project managers in building detailed requirements for development of strategic infrastructure to support business’s reporting
Assist in departments special projects or components of broader projects as needed
Work alongside key partners to establish and enhance procedures and controls to govern reporting activities
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
5+ years financial reporting, regulatory reporting, controller or business/risk analytics-related experience
Proficient in building financial models and interpreting large data sets
Working knowledge on business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Tableau etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience creating/presenting a concise story to senior leaders
Experience working in or alongside Technology to deliver business requirements and deliver strategic infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement and initiative, to prioritize and accurately complete multiple tasks, and to work under deadlines and changing priorities in order to deliver results
Must be results-oriented and focused on big picture with superior attention to detail.
