JSW Steel Hiring for Shift In-Charge Mechanical at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Full Time

Ø Responsible for breakdown, preventive and predictive maintenance.

Ø Maintain the spare parts inventory and Raise PR through SAP

Ø To improve the product quality, efficiency, safety through kaizen activities.

Ø Plan daily maintenance activities and ensure all time availability of machine for production.

Ø Maintenance and troubleshooting of various machineries such as Cut To Length line, Slitter line, Blanking line, EOT Cranes and utilities (Compressor’s, DG’s, Pumps & STP).

Ø Reduce the machine breakdowns by doing root cause analysis, corrective action and implementing & regular follow up and monitoring the effectiveness.

Ø Preventive and predictive maintenance of all machines as per PM schedule and maintain the records.

Ø Shift scheduling and handling of the department employees.

Ø Responsible for maintaining high degree of quality in all operations.

Ø Maintain the spare parts inventory and ensure all spare parts are available at minimum level.

Ø Study of technical drawings (2D&3D) and machine parts to be drawn manually/excel.

Ø Actively involved in kaizen activities to improve the quality, productivity and safety.

Ø Actively involved in cost saving activates.

Ø To maintain and update the ISO and IATF documents on regular basis.

Ø Co-ordination with all interfacing department for smooth running of production.

Ø To improve the skill set of subordinates through training and development.

Ø Work towards zero defect and zero breakdown

Ø Responsible for 6S (5S+safey) at shop floor.
