Karnavati University Hiring for Manager – Career Services at Gandhinagar, Gujarat Full Time

The Manager – Career Services coordinates end-to-end and is responsible for student internships and placements. This includes to schedule, organize, and manage placement activities for the Design / Law / Liberal Arts / Management Students at Karnavati University, provide ample opportunities for students to achieve 100% success in terms of internships, projects, and placements, and play an instrumental role in developing and sustaining a mutually beneficial long-term relationship with the industry / organizations / employers.

KEY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Onboard Corporates for internships, placements of KU students, both Domestic & International.
• Advise employers on realistic expectations from the freshers, and close deals accordingly.
• Establish strong client relations with the existing, past and prospective employers.
• Client revival will be an intrinsic part of this role.
• Procure a proper Job description along with tentative range of Stipend / Salary, Perquisites, offered by the employer, in accordance to the expertise of constituent colleges of KU.
• Communicate all the information to the respective colleges & the eligible students aptly.
• Oversee the execution for a fair process in accordance with the internal policy. Not encouraging any biasness in the processing.
• Meet the Dean / HoD / HoIs / Placement Co-ordinators of all the constituent colleges of KU for smooth transition of placement process.
• Create a robust student committee to drive and act as a support system in the process. Maintain relations thereon.
• Counsel students in respect of their future career moves. Make them market ready.
• Conduct market readiness, expectation management, and interview management sessions with students.
• Organize and execute Campus Placement events.
• Meticulous management of all data, MIS and all the necessary reports for the leadership team.
• Meet deadlines as set by the functional team.
• Optimum time utilized in Roles: 80% – Campus Placements & Related Activities; 20% – Workshops, Talks, Research Projects

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Post Graduate in any stream. For incumbents with relevant exposure, these criteria can be eased out.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of Proven experience in B2B client acquisition, client relations & client servicing.
• Point of contact in past Sales must be decision makers in the HR, CXOs, Functional Heads, Founders, Promoters.
• Must have industry expertise in (at least 3) : FMCG, FMCD, Fintech, Non-IT Consulting (in line with Big4s), Design, Healthcare, IT, Analytics, Startups, Ecommerce, Automobiles, to name a few.
• Exposure in Mass Hiring / Campus Hiring would be a plus.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• An orator with good command over ENGLISH language (written & verbal)
• A solution oriented, self-motivated, energetic, go-getter with strong business development, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Readiness to travel extensively.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Well versed with ERP / software usages
• Good in Excel (including using formulas, Lookups etc.), PPT
