Position Overview:-
General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dealership, ensuring that sales targets are met, and customer satisfaction is maintained. The GM will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, maintaining budgets and ensuring staff is properly trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:-

Sales Management-The GM will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, managing the sales team and monitoring their performance.
Operations Management-The GM will be responsible for ensuring that the operations of the dealership are smooth.
Customer Service-The GM will be responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied with the dealership’s services, resolving customer complaints and implementing measures to improve customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management The GM will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring that the dealership has the right mix of vehicles, and implemen7ng measures to minimise inventory costs.
Staff Management- The GM will manage and motivate staff, ensure they are properly trained, and implement measures to improve staff performance.
Marketing & Promotion-The GM will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales, develop customer loyalty, and enhance the dealership’s brand image.
Reporting-The GM will be accountable to the Managing Director. He is supposed to report to him for overall work.

Desired Skillets and Experience:-

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in managing a commercial vehicle dealership of Tata Motors in a GM or similar role.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and improving profitability.
• Strong leadership , communica7on and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet 7ght deadlines and manage mul7ple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle products and services

Salary:-

The GM’s salary may vary depending on the experience, qualifications and location. The average salary range for this role is 70K-2,00,000 per month. Incentives may vary depending on the performance.
