Job Description

Dr Kanungo’s Diabetes Centre seeks a Laboratory Technician with 5-10 years of experience in reputed patho-labs and hospitals, with the following description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform Laboratory Tests: Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Maintain Equipment: Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning optimally.
• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of test results.
• Sample Management: Handle and process patient samples efficiently, following safety and confidentiality protocols.
• Data Recording: Accurately record and analyse test results, maintaining comprehensive and organised records.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work closely with doctors and nursing staff to support patient care and treatment plans.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory technology and practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the laboratory.
• Training: Provide training and mentorship to new and junior staff members.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording results.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 – ?25,000.00 per month
