Accounts Payable / Receivable (AP/AR) Clerks are responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. Key responsibilities include receiving, processing, and verifying supplier invoices, verifying procurement card transactions, may track and record purchase orders, and process customer deposits.
Responsibilities
Monitor the AP inbox, respond to inquiries and enter supplier invoices
Verify procurement card transactions with the responsible party
Record customer payments in the accounting system
Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
Assist with supplier onboarding, enter supplier information into the financial system, and gather necessary documentation. Maintain account information ongoing in the financial system.
Perform data entry associated with the accounting function.
Review and reconcile invoice supplier discrepancies.
Review all invoices from business units and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
Address and respond to supplier and internal stakeholder inquiries.
Assist with streamlining the accounts payable processes.
Qualifications
2+ years experience with accounts payable or general accounting experience. Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional environment and to adapt to frequent change.
Possess a high degree of confidentiality.
