Job Description

Job Role:

• Loan Documentation and security assessment with key focus on Mortgages.
• Exploring the various legal alternatives available and assisting in documentation and security creation.
• Consistent and effective follow up and query resolution with the external legal vendors.
• Liasoning with Lawyers and other statutory authorities.
• Knowledge of local property & related laws & procedures

Main Responsibilities:

• To vet title related / Mortgage documents of properties;
• To have knowledge on Drafting/Documentation, Property Laws, Local Laws and Notifications; ( Stamp, Registration, Rent & TP Act)
• To give updates on Property Laws, Local Laws and Notifications to the Department ;
• To independently draft documents;
• To do the legal documentation;
• Maintain the time line for every activity;
• Prepare and maintain MIS;

Additional Responsibilities :

• To attend Litigations concerning area serviced & others
• To give regular updates on latest enactments / orders concerning the Legal processes;

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Drafting/Documentation, Property Laws, Local Laws
• Good Negotiation and Communication skills
• Academic Qualification – LLB
• Work Experience – 5-12 years
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Highly motivated and self-starter.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Having proficiency in Tamil language
• Knowledge in SARFAESI Act and IBC
