Job Role: Senior Manager / AVP – Legal (M4/M5 Grade depending on experience)

Job Description:
Entire gamut of legal aspect related to real estate lending business involving following:

Well versed with relevant laws pertaining to real estate development including RERA and real estate lending transactions;

Independently handling of real estate due diligence / title search of various projects/ lands and ability to identify legal risk;

Drafting and negotiating transaction documents such as loan documents, security documents including mortgage related drafts, escrow agreement and other relevant documents pertaining to real estate financing;

Co-ordination and follow up with external advocates / legal counsel for review and closure of title search reports;

Well versed with creation of security interest by way of mortgages and perfection of securities;

Preparation and Verification of list or tracker for title deeds with respect to secured properties;

Preparation of internal reports related to title search and tracker at regular intervals for various transactions;

Recovery and litigation experience, following up with internal and external team / consultants, will be preferred.

Record keeping and data management for Title search reports and transactions.

Required Qualification and Experience –

Law degree from reputed institution

Candidates having at least 5 – 6 years post qualification experience preferably in the financial services or real estate business

Having good communication and drafting skills with ready to learn approach

Understanding the business requirement and addressing the same in accordance with existing legal framework
