KP & J Architects & Engineers Hiring for Structural Drafter/Modeler at Chennai Full Time

Job Title: Structural Drafter/Modeler

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Key Responsibility:

Produce 3D models consistent with instruction, industry guidelines, and KP&J A&E standards and practices.

Clearly annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to KP&J standards and practices.

Manage the BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.

Maintain structural BIM / CAD files for use in the structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshoot).

Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.

Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.

Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.

Qualifications:

2 to 10+ years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.

Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software

Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Autocad software

Strong understanding of how a building comes together

Ability to think in 3-D

Ability to draw sections and details with minimal input from engineer

Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills

Pay: ₹35,000.00 – ₹60,000.00 per month
