Position: Consultant – Mining Clearances

Role Overview:

We are seeking a consultant to support project management activities for mining projects, with a focus on securing statutory clearances such as Environmental Clearance (EC), Forest Clearance (FC), and other regulatory approvals. The role involves close coordination with client officials, technical consultants, and government authorities to ensure timely progress and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and manage statutory requirements across the mining lifecycle.

• Review and interpret policies from MoEFCC, SPCBs, Forest Dept, DGMS, and other regulatory bodies.

• Advise clients on documentation and processes for EC, FC, CTE/CTO, and other clearances.

• Monitor timelines, identify bottlenecks, and drive resolution.

• Maintain a clearance tracker and generate periodic compliance reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Mining, or related field.

• Proven experience in handling mining-related statutory approvals.

• Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with e-Governance portals and clearance workflows.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
