The Role
The Chief Administrative Officer will have an oversight of all non-academic operations in the campus, pertaining to the infrastructure, facilities, landscape management, physical security, safety and fire control of all assets and persons in the campus. These include plant services, civil services, utilities, material stores, contractual relationships, and risk management.

Job Location: Sri City
Krea University is in Sri City, in A.P, 60 km from Chennai (nearest Airport).
This is a full-time role requiring “On Campus” presence through-out. The CAO is provided with a family residence inside the campus.
Educational Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree or MDP in management, or related field; Master’s preferred;
Significant experience in a leadership role, preferably in an educational setting.
Remuneration: Competitive remuneration inline with the sector standards and as per institutional policy.
Candidate Profile and expectations
Krea University is looking to invite an Armed Forces Officer, preferably from the short service commission, who is a dynamic and committed professional with a reasonable experience in the education/corporate/civil administrative sector. Notwithstanding that, regular Officers are also encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants must possess exceptional communication, customer service, and team-building skills, at least a bachelor’s degree or an MDP in management, or related field. Significant experience in a leadership role (preferably in an educational setting) and an ability to support the mission and core values of the University, are imperative.

Role overview
The person in the position assumes a leadership role in strategic planning and execution of the strategic direction of the entire campus operations. The Chief administrative officer is expected to thrive in a challenging and an environment requiring constant alertness and agile thinking. They should be able to promote a climate of cooperation among students, staff, faculty living on the campus and visiting persons. This includes maximizing effectiveness of the administration department’s execution of its responsibilities and provide feedback for performance assessment and continuous improvement.
Primary responsibilities include oversight of the following (but not limited to):
Function as head of Operations.
Inventory and plant assets.
Maintenance of buildings/furnishings.
Protective/safety services.
Housekeeping services.
Groundskeeping services.
Operation of utilities.
Collaboration with campus development team on new constructions/expansion.
Major third party and contractual relationships, such as catering and housekeeping services.
Risk management activities, including institution-wide insurance coverage,
campus security and safety, and environmental safety.
Auxiliary enterprises.
Strategic planning for operations departments.
Resource allocation and budgeting for operations departments.
Oversee and manage Employee housing, rent, room inspections, housing setup, maintenance and management
Other duties as assigned by the Management

Working conditions
This position is primarily very active, includes frequent physical and on vehicle touring of the campus, facilities and visits to external agencies, in addition to office work.
