As a Kroll Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Architect you will be responsible for:

• Leading technical workshops, providing design guidance in areas such as extensions / modifications, data conversion, environment provisioning and application integration.
• Working with the consultant group and end users to define technical requirements.
• Ensuring the technical requirements tie back to the established requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the company’s long-term strategy.
• Making sure the proposed gap resolutions fit in the overall architecture and business logic of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and its related systems.
• Performing technical design reviews and validating design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
• Reviewing technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirements traceability.
• Ensuring that internal development guidelines are understood and applied by the development team, both external and internal.
• Performing code reviews of all modified code and working with developers, both external and internal to ensure best practices are met.
• Ensuring that proper testing is being done on any modified code (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, QA Testing, Automated Testing, etc.
• Identifying and communicating any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas.
• Ensuring security practices are used and applied throughout the systems lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of ERP technical implementation (AX 2009, AX 2012, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) and integration experience working with Enterprise clients.
• Minimum of two full lifecycle ERP implementations leading a technical workstream such as integration, data conversion or extension development.
• Having a deep understanding of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technology stack and the peripheral technologies that can be leveraged including, but not limited to, Azure, Azure SQL, Dual-Write, Dataverse, Power BI, Power Automate, Azure Machine Learning, etc.
• Having a proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
• Having a good understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and ADO (Azure DevOps).
• Having experience in other technologies such as SQL, PowerBI reporting, along with good knowledge X++, C# and the .Net framework.
• Having experience in developing customizations for the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform.
• Having knowledge in gathering technical requirements.
• Having experience working with DMF (Data Management Framework).
• Understanding of Enterprise integration patterns.
• Having knowledge with role-based security design, customization, and setup; including XDS (Extensible Data Security).
• Having experience with code build and deployment via ADO and LifeCycle Services.
• Having excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Having knowledge in business process mapping, modelling, and documentation.
• Having experience in the technical aspects of Dynamics 365 CE and Project Operations regarding design, development, and deployment is a plus.
