Your Role and Responsibilities

Performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning. We are keen to have you bring your knowledge of fundamental concepts and technologies associated with AIX Systems Support.Depth knowledge of UNIX , AIX Server Support, designing, troubleshooting and storage implementation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an enterprise server environment Experience in AIX (v6.1, 7.1, 7.2), GPFS/Spectrum scale v4.2, 5 PowerHA SystemMirror (v7.1, 7.2),
PowerVM/VIOS (v2.2 and 3+), IBM pSeries Hardware (P7,8,9 models) Administrator Indepth knowledge and experience with PowerHA SystemMirror administration, configuration,
cluster build, storage addition and filesystem administration, cluster nodes, topologies, networks, and heartbeating concepts Solid understanding of AIX system administration,
user administration, file/directory permissions, LVM, maintenance of software and system patches, TCP/IP concepts, NFS, NIS, DNS, storage concepts, performance tuning.
Working experience with PowerVM/VIOS, HMC, Virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN-attached storage, NIM (Network Installation Manager) Ability to perform with a team /coordination skills/ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure Ability to perform in 24 x 7 Environment support based on shift roster

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Working experience with PowerHA/XD (cross-site) and GPFS/Spectrum scale v4.2, 5 would be an added advantage
