As Database Administrator, you are responsible for installation, configuration & managing database server and applying security patches & other Patches for upgrading versions of oracle database on different platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day Database administration and Production Support
• Install and implement DB2, DB2 tools, Patches as required
• Manage incidents at Customer account
• DB2 database Administration/Support
• Perform Storage Space management
• Database Security Administration
• Maintain Configuration details
• Execute configuration changes to DB2
• Review and maintain system configuration documentation
• Troubleshooting of DB2 related problem
• Proactive system monitoring and support
• Level 2 and Level 3 Ticket resolution

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Industry
• Experience in installation, configuration, upgradation and DB2 databse administration, System Programming and problem-solving skills
• Ability to install, configure on ORACLE DBA Clustering and fix support packs on all OS platforms
• Demonstrated ability to implement High Availability, Workload Management and Fail Over, Disaster recovery
• Expertise in debugging and analytical skills with solid grasp of system development methodologies, techniques and tool
• Experience in monitoring and reporting tools
