The Role
Aix Admin
Support AIX OS to run various software applications.
deploying and maintaining LPARs, maintaining VIOs, AIX OS, filesystem, maintaining GPFS & HACMP cluster.
Candidate should be comfortable & experienced with the basic concepts & performance tuning of various aspects in AIX Implementation, maintenance, monitoring & debugging.
Install and configure AIX operating systems and servers.
Support AIX OS to run various software applications.
Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS.
Install and test AIX OS patches.
Develop procedures for AIX security and management.
Identify and resolve AIX OS system issues.
Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware.
Plan and execute AIX projects. LPAR creation, LPAR movement, VIOS management.
Manage AIX and LINUX clusters (HACMP, GPFS, filesystems)
Troubleshoot and resolve AIX and Linux security Vulnerability in the environment.
Analytic Skill using NMON
Required Technical Skill Set
IBM AIX P7, P8, P9 ,
LINUX RHEL7 system administration
Non-Technical Skill
Excellent Communication (Written / Verbal) , preferred languages English / Hindi / Marathi
Very good team player
Posses “Can do “attitude with positive mindset.
