Your Role and Responsibilities

• In alignment with IT Strategy of modernization infrastructure to enhance customer experience, improve velocity, agility and transform to IT as a Service model, the Orchestration and Automation team will also enable the customer to build additional services.

• Serves as a subject matter expert for automation and orchestration

• Supports the existing Automation Portals and provisioning scripts.

• Develop Linux and Windows provisioning scripting

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum of 8+ years of Experience in IT industryMCDs knowledge

• Proven experience in Automated provisioning using vRealize Automation (vRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO), Strong Skill set in JavaScript

• Ability to support the automation environment including troubleshooting vRA and vRO issues

• Define and implement efficient end-to-end provisioning of Linux and Windows VMs

• Develop and document automated workflows

• Excellent scripting skills (Example: shell scripts, PowerShell, Javascript)

• Ability to create vRealize workflows that utilize multiple systems/APIs/Languages

• Experience with Service now APIs

• Knowledge of VMware, Storage and Database technologies

• Excellent coding and GUI skills

• Experience with RedHat Linux, Windows Server 2008 and 2012

• Core Java web application/automation development and ability to provide automation solutions

• Hands on working knowledge with a high level object-oriented programming language is highly desirable

• Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure a plus

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Expertise in VMware vRealize Automation and VMware vRealize Orchestration (vRA/vRO) Development

• Knowledge in designing XAAS blueprints, Resource Action

• Ability to translate new requirements/ function to working solution in vRO which include –

• Gather requirement

• Design

• Develop the flow

• Testing

• Code promotion

• Strong Skill set in JavaScript

• Development knowledge using the REST /SOAP API

• Strong Skill set in Scripting languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python)

• In-depth knowledge in Infrastructure (windows or linux)

• Solid understanding of VMware vSphere

• Expertise in Chef, Ansible will be add-on
