Your Role and Responsibilities

Manages and administers the physical and technical aspects of database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installation and maintenance of the database system, installation of upgrades and patches, performance and capacity monitoring/management, and security compliance.
Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Potential interaction with clients (internal or external) in order to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required 6+ years of experience.
Installing, patching, maintaining, and monitoring databases.
Managing the use of and management of memory.
Creating, maintaining and setting up user accounts in the database Ensuring compliance with database vendor license agreements Organizing and coordinating database maintenance tasks.
Ensuring that on a regular basis, the database security protocols are updated Monitoring database performance to ensure it meets business requirements for availability and speed Consulting.
With clients on database design and implementation options, followed by recommendations based on best practices.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
