Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to generate high level proposals for Scientific Development and Business Development team members to facilitates rapid proposal turn around. This includes taking information provided by the Scientific Development team, utilizing in house data driven knowledge of study execution limitation to generate a protocol that coveys the protocol’s goal and captures all the major cost drivers accurately. Tasks will be performed in accordance with the appropriate guidance (e.g. company standards, internal site guidelines and regulatory guidelines) in a timely, efficient and quality manner. Essential Job Duties

• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Preclinical Oncology (PCO) services and limitations; mainly focused on in vivo services for PCO offered at both the Ann Arbor, MI and the Greenfield, IN sites. In-depth understanding of the operational limitations will be beneficial.
• Creating the High-Level Proposal (HLP) based on the information provided by the Scientific Development (Sci Dev) or Business Development (BDD) team members.
  • Sci Dev or Business Development team members will provide all of the needed information to generate the HLP; including tumor model (disease type), mouse strain, treatment information, number of group and number of mice / group and any other cost driving details (i.e. sampling or imaging). The incumbent will compile and translate this information into the pricing/bid tool to provide an HPL protocol that is costed accurately and capture the main study objective.
• Independently work with Sci Dev team members or BDD team members to capture all the missing details to ensure that the protocol is accurate.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and consistent accuracy.
• Understands PCO requirements for general study types. Gains familiarity with internal process for ABSL2, EHS and MIACUC approval.
• Interacts with Safety Assessment personnel as needed for their assistance in the protocol development process.
• Assists in the collation of materials to respond to Client Questionnaires and Requests for Information (RFI’s).
• In collaboration with Collateral Management team assist in the generation and maintenance of marketing collateral; focusing on in vivo data specific slide decks.
• Assists in the collation of materials to respond to sponsor request for information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
