This position is for Danaher’s Laetus team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore
IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments . Started in 2014, the center now hosts 60+ associates for multiple Danaher operating companies . The operating companies includes Laetus , PID Digital, Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, LS Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, IDBS, SCIEX, HemoCue , Videojet , SCIEX, IDBS, Cytiva and Cepheid .
The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams , working on development of software and hardware components of ground breaking products . IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics , with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions . The teams consist of hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers . The teams are supported by local and remote Product managers , Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists .
The Laetus team works in close coordination with the Laetus R&D cente r in Germany, and Slovenia . Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility , measuring 120K sqft .

How We Do It ?
The Laetus UP Software Suite supports our client’s production process es with a large selection of standardized modules . The UP CORE module is the basis for this , including all the basic tools for setting up and managing the production process . Depending on requirements , these basic functions can be extended with various add -on modules covering aspects of production control , supply chain management , quality assurance , brand protection and customer engagement .
The Laetus UP platform provides the software environment to control and support any kind of complex packaging process for serialized products supporting Track & Trace in the supply chain . Laetus UP is intended to offer a unique , all- encompassing single platform for operating , monitoring and maintenance of multiple packaging lines . The solution is scalable from single line to fully plant based multi-line architecture . Various tools are available to set up an automatic production ordering supported by Level 4 (ERP) software systems .
As a UI Engineer for Laetus , you will join a team of skilled software engineers to drive the Laetus UP platform . You will apply your knowledge and proficiency in architecting and coding modern graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and its components . You will work with modern UI frameworks such as Angular and Interface with e vent driven systems that interact with back -end databases and other services. Your goal will be to develop high-quality user interfaces that are aligned with user needs and business goals .
Responsibilities
Collaborate with UX designers and other members
Identify , prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
Ensure clean code principles ( inc. code reviews ) in development process to achieve clean and efficient code
Support of the entire development process from the conception , implementation , testing and maintenance of an innovative software application
Participation in the continuous improvement of the software development processes
Collaborate with internal and external teams and vendors to fix and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Ensure software is up – to -date with latest technologies
Requirements
Must have :
3 years’ experience with UX/UI Design for a Web & Desktop applications.
Hands on experience with designing end to end user experience using Wireframes using any industry standard tool
Hands-on experience working on latest AngularJS
H TML5 and CSS skills are a plus
A good instinct for design and technology
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Practical experience in the following areas: UX/UI, Interaction Design, User Interface or Web Design
Team spirit, open communication, tight sense of quality and a n awareness of analytic problem solving
C ooperative personality with distinctive communication and ability to work in a team
Fluency in English required.
Preferred to Have :
Experience of solutions that interface with dedicated HW or peripherals ( cameras , printers etc )
Knowledge of industrial interface technologies
REST interface design (JSON contracts )
Event Driven Paradigms ( messages brokers / publish subscribe , MQTT, Kafka, etc )
