Technical Lead, Network Administrator

This position is responsible for maintenance, operational support, and issue triage of customer facing and internal data networks, network security, WAN connectivity.

In this role, the Network Administrator will:
Maintain firewalls to ensure proper security controls are in place
Daily operational support networks to ensure service is delivered to internal, hosted, and managed service customers
Work with providers / telcos for escalation of issues.
Utilize and support network tools to monitor and troubleshoot environment

Required Skills:
Extensive experience in Cisco ASA Firewall, Firepower, F5 LTM
Extensive experience in Nexus Switches and dependent technologies like VPC, VDC, VxLAN, AAA
Strong knowledge in SD-WAN, ACI, DCNM
Good to have Scripting knowledge and TCL language
Must have experience on routing protocols like EGP & IGP and hands-on troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of working in Visio and knows about SolarWinds
Understanding of DHCP, DNS, VMware, Datacenter Architecture
Strong hands-on with Switching technologies, IPS, GTM
Knowledge of IP subnetting and the OSI model.
Experience with Cisco devices, specifically Cisco routers & switches and Cisco Firepower and ASA firewalls.
Understanding of firewall security policies involving objects, rules, NATs, inspection policies, etc.
Experience with Algosec, Gigamon taps, and F5 load balancers
Must be customer-service-minded and tactful when dealing with customers.

Education & Certification:
7-10 years of experience in IT Networking.
Engineering degree or equivalent graduate degree
Network certification.
ITIL V3 Foundation certified
