  Abstract/Purpose of Position
  The Head of Accounts Payable is responsible for the entire accounts payable process as well as for the maintenance of vendor master data. The overriding objective of accounts payable is a complete invoice (including travel expense claims) entry, verification and correct posting of payables as well as accounts management in respect of timely, compliance guidelines and indirect tax and direct tax requirements.

  Job Responsibilities
  People management
  Ensures process execution (accounts payable and vendor master data maintenance) in compliance with direct and indirect tax rules and group guidelines. Ensures operational effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day business.
  Ongoing process optimization, creation and monitoring of quality standards within assigned competences
  First level of escalation for all issues w.r.t. Accounts Payable. Interfaces with various departments BUs, GFs, GPL, GBS-RTR, GBS-PTP-OP, GBS-OTC, GBS-TM, Finance Organization
  Manages and reviews monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information. Liaises with auditors w.r.t. Accounts Payable topics (FRP audit ( HBII ) , Statutory Audit ( HBI ) , Tax Audit, Internal Audit)
  Resource allocation to ensure daily operation
  Ensure maintenance of framework of Internal Financial control over Financial Reporting as per Companies Act
