- ) Oversee selection and coordination of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects
- ) Allocate resources to projects
- ) Supervise & ensure timely completion of reporting activities (progress reports, etc.) by project managers
- ) Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts, and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
- ) Review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed
- ) Develop standard construction processes and implement
- ) Define clear communication channels and procedures for smooth inter-departmental coordination
- ) Identify and avoid changes in project plan that impact contract margin
- ) Resolve inter-departmental issues and ensure smooth functioning across teams
- ) Track and control construction schedules and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated
- ) Conduct regular construction review meetings
- ) Monitor project progress and ensure development of catch-up plan if required
