Larsen & Toubro Hiring for Contracts Manager at Mumbai Metropolitan Region Full Time

• Review and analyze commercial and contractual aspects of tender documents.
• Raising clarifications, exceptions and deviations on the tender document.
• Converting project specific requirements on technical, commercial, SCM or of other functions into contractual terms & obligations
• Listing salient features, rights, obligations and liabilities under the awarded contracts and making detailed presentation to execution team.
• Negotiating with the customers for mutually acceptable contracting terms.
• Identification of contractual risks and proposing risk mitigation plans.
• BOQ – Progress based invoicing and payment follow-up
• Administration of bank guarantees and Insurances.
• Maintain contractual records and documentation in chronological order
• Coordination with yard teams, legal, finance, insurance taxation for validation and inputs on relevant contractual aspects to ensure contracts are accepted as per risk management guidelines and that there are no profit leakages and commercial costs are optimized.
• Estimation and costing for new proposals & change orders
• Developing effective working relationships with clients and support project team on contract administration throughout the project lifecycle (on change orders, scope and time extensions, FIM delays, additional scope, and other contractual matters)
• Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by line management
