Education : Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering

Experience : 3-10 years, experience in Detailing of Civil and Structural Works in solar Power plant project, Wind Farms, construction Industry.

Objective : The person shall be capable of handling the detailing engineering for Solar power plants like Mini Grid and Megawatt scales plants, roof top plants, Wind Farm Civil Balance of Plant works of Layouts, Roads, Drains. The draft engineer shall design review the entire drawings for a project or a set of smaller projects including co-ordination with other disciplines viz., electrical, instrumentation and mechanical.

Draft Engineer shall work with a team of design engineers, lead engineers to create Detailing of engineering activities to deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving inputs of detailing from design engineers
• Preparation of Grading drawings in Civil 3D
• Preparation of layouts of foundations, roads and drains in Civil 3D and generation of 2D drawings in AutoCAD
• Preparation of detail drawings for structure and foundation for all buildings and equipment’s. Documentation of records for all the projects as per ISO.
• Preparation of checklist of drawings for review purpose
• Submission of drawings to design engineer for review
• Corrections and comments updated from Site Inputs
• Preparing BOQ and material with respect to design Inputs

Technical Expertise

• Design Engineer shall be capable of creating the detailing of engineering activities for civil & structural covering module mounting structure – Fixed/Tracker, Grading and Levelling, Foundation marking, Roads, Drains, control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures and miscellaneous works related to the Solar power plant. Good knowledge in Civil 3D and AutoCAD 2D

Software Skills Required
