Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shop Manufacturing Engineering lead for developing process and assembly timeline for stack and EPU manufacturing and testing operations. Candidate should have hands on experience of time & motion study.
Along with that candidate is expected to have knowledge about optimization and continuous improvement of our KUKA-based robotic production lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial robotics, automation systems, and production line management, especially in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously analyse production processes for improvements in efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for automation processes.
- Robotic Programming:
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of KUKA robots with other production equipment (PLCs, conveyors, vision systems, etc.).
- Program, test, and optimize robotic systems and automation equipment to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or mechanical issues on the robotic assembly line.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or a related field preferred
- 12-15 years in manufacturing engineering/ robotic automation programming and assembly line supervision (preferably KUKA Robot).
- Knowledge of KUKA robot programming (KRL), integration with PLCs (Beckhoff PLC), and HMI systems.
- Preferred Skills:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience with industrial automation systems integration.
- Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and MES systems.
