Job Role: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• To track commodity markets like metal, cement etc. which are used regularly in EPC businesses.
• To track events (India and World) like wars (Russia/Ukraine or Israel/Palestine), natural calamities political changes which impacts prices, demand, supply, transport cost etc.
• Map and track the key players (manufactures, distributors) – Empaneled ones and new ones so that an informed strategic buying decision is taken (When to buy, how much to buy, what rate to buy, from where to buy etc.)
• Our buyers are usually too loaded with purchase activities that they cannot do much demand/supply analysis, study of trends, external factors, and predictive analysis.
• We must keep on looking for upcoming local players close to our Project sites so that we save on freight cost as well as get good commercial deals.
• Cheap imports in India and their prices as at times steel etc. from China is available in market.
• This person will be giving much needed analytical insights to buyers can take smart sourcing decisions to close deals in more informed way. He will also work on process improvements/digitalization/ work with AI/Tech teams. (RGQ Physical to Digital)
• Interactions with vendors and stakeholders

Education: MBA Operations/SCM with hands on analytical exposure
