Full Job Description
1. Statutory compliances ( LIFT, FIRE, GPCB, PESO, AAI, VUDA, DIST. PANCHAYAT, FSSAI, LABOUR LICENSES, ELECTRICAL LICENSES, DG Set , Monthly Compliance and payment ) ,Gujarat Labour Welfare Fund -ensuring submission of welfare fund by the Contractors for their workers , Gujarat Shop and Establishment Act -Submission of Annual compliance under Shop and Establishment
2. Rendering return of statutory compliances
3. SEZ related compliances- . Meeting Specified Officer, Calling for Annual Unit Approval Committee Meeting, Filling of Half Yearly compliance along with CE certificate, Submitting of monthly report, Submitting of Quarterly report
4. Litigation -Attending Court Hearings, Briefing the Advocates, Aiding in the Out of Court Settlement, if Any, Drafting of Notices, Drafting of Court Proceedings, Translation of imp. Legal documents from Gujarati to English, Litigation matter before Civil Court, Labour Court and Gujarat High Court
5. Liasoning – Visit to various Government and Quasi -Government Authorities, Administrative Authorities in Vadodara city and Gandhinagar. Drafting of imp . Govt letters pertaining to Land sale /purchase at Vadodara, Gandhinagar.
6. Compliances under Registration Act. -Ensuring Registration of all documents that require compulsory registration under section 18. Co-ordinating with the Sub-Registrar to receive registered copy of the deed. Taking appointment for registration. Hiring of external Agency ( if required)
7. Labour compliance:
Conducting monthly labour audits for all the contractors of I&S Dept.
Various type of licences to be checked and ensuring contractors are complying all statutory labour laws.
Verifying the statutory documents like all the registers whether maintained properly or not.
