Job Description

Trainer -Precast& Precast elements Erection

To plan, organise, communicate and co -ordinate CSTI and site-based training programs for pre- casting, precast elements erection trades.

The Job involves:
Preparing and getting the training curriculum approved from management.

Preparing lesson plans for the accepted curriculum.

Preparing training calendars in alignment with already running programs in CSTI.

Imparting classroom and practical trainings (hands on practice) to the trainees as per the lesson plan of the respective trades as indicated within the CSTI campus.

Imparting the on-the-job training for the workmen at project sites as per their direction and as per the curriculum

Evaluate the performance of the trainees and documenting the evidence on a regular and periodical basis.

Co-ordination for mobilising the required trainees for precast from sites as well as from outside.

Co-ordination with CSTI staff, management, trainers, trainees and projects for the successful training and deployment.

Prepare requirements for tools, tackles consumables, equipments, machinery and infrastructure for the above-mentioned trades.

Prepare budget for the training.

Execute and make ready the facilities for the training.

Make regular project visits to see the performance of the trained and already deployed people at project locations, check, course correct training methodology or content to give correct alignment with project requirements.

Prepare and submit periodical reports on training and trainee performance.

To visit projects for trouble shooting wherever, whenever directed by the management.

Comply with all the existing ISO requirements for the CSTI.

The candidate should preferably be a Diploma/Degree holder with not less than 10 years of working experience in pre-casting, precast element erection with excellent communication skills and flair for training. He shall be very well conversant with computers in Word, excel and PPT.

His job is of fulltime, primary location is CSTI -Ahmedabad for CSTI based trainings but it is site based when training happens in projects. He will have a dual reporting. He will administratively report to the CSTI principal and functionally will report to Head of Competency cell (RREC SBG).
