Job Description

TechNadu, operated and owned by Leaprove Media LLP, is seeking an experienced full-time entertainment writer focusing on media streaming services. Your role will include producing content that informs and educates our readers about US-based streaming services, while also helping them resolve technical issues and taking full advantage of their subscriptions.As part of our team, you can expect to produce various types of articles related to streaming services such as Disney Plus, Peacock, Disney Plus, Hulu, fuboTV, Paramount Plus, and plenty more. It’s essential to be aware of how these services work, in what regions they work, the types of content they offer, and similar.In addition to that, you will be required to prepare your content for publishing. You need to be knowledgeable when it comes to WordPress and have at least basic photo editing skills.TechNadu has always been primarily focused on quality over quantity. So, we expect you to produce in-depth streaming-related articles that leave no stone unturned.Please keep in mind that we’re looking for a long-term arrangement. And also, we’re ready to accommodate any volume of content you can produce, as long as it meets our expectations.Responsibilities:

• Conducting in-depth research on entertainment related topics in order to develop original content.
• Research and write short and long-form content.
• Prepare well-organized drafts utilizing Content Management Systems (WordPress).
• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
• Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company’s current content.
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies and edit blog posts before publication.
• Communicate and cooperate with a writing team, including a content manager, editors, and web publishers.
• Submit work to editors for input and approval.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
• Proven 1 year of work experience as an entertainment content writer.
• Portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent command over English language.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience doing research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications.
• Knowledge of SEO practices and latest industry trends.
• Working knowledge of content management systems. (WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
