Job Description:
Under general direction, has duties of architecting and supporting Hybris/Java applications (e-commerce platforms). Responsible for monitoring and evaluating options to enhance the Hybris/Java application from a scalability, security, and reliability standpoint. Works with management, consultants, developers, and users to compile and prioritize enhancements and defect resolutions to applications and interfaces. Designs and builds changes, extensions, and improvements to existing Hybris/Java applications and reports according to software standards and conventions. Reviews and debug existing customizations and reports as necessary. Works on elements of large and complex installations, perform all aspects of administrative assignments, and assists with systems design. Conducts functional design and testing for new projects. Supports data migration, data conversion, data loading, and performance improvement. Performs system-wide/cross-functional team management. Provides direction for projects. Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects and providing consultative support to internal staff. Acts as a mentor to junior employees.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 6 to 8 years of related experience. Has full technical knowledge of Hybris/Java applications and system design. Must be an expert at testing and resolving complex issues. Must resolve complex mismatches between user requirements and current application functionality. Requires excellent written and verbal communication. Must have moderate skills in leading technical solutions/projects.

Experience with DevOps engineering, CI/CD pipeline setup for Java applications (Azure preferred)
Experience with Apache server administration in DMZ env
Experience with Hybris/Java e-commerce suite install/upgrade/maintain
Experience with RedHat Linux OS and strong command of shell scripting
Experience with Splunk/Dynatrace monitoring tools is a plus
Experience with REST API is a plus
