Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd Hiring for Data and Research Analyst- Global Business Services at New Delhi, Delhi Full Time

We are seeking a strong candidate with passion to work in the Insurance domain. The professional will join as Data and Research Analyst in the Global Business Services (GBS) team within Procurement. The professional will work with and support our Procurement Category Strategists and Strategic Business Partners by providing expertise in research, analytics, proposals, and will contribute to knowledge management and development.

The candidate will leverage both internal and external resources including their own experience, ideally from the BPO or IT sector, and will be directly responsible for working independently with our Category Strategists and Business Stakeholders (internationally), as well as collecting, validating, analyzing, and generating reporting on data from our Strategic Business Partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analytics – Gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve business, thus affecting business decisions within Procurement

Data Reporting – Create dashboards and custom presentations based on collected data that will help stakeholders take key strategic decisions

Design and Analyze Stakeholder Surveys – Understand business objectives and design questionnaires/surveys to discover prospective preferences of Business Stakeholders. Analyze the outcome of the surveys and present the findings in easy-to-understand way

Research – Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to collect information on IT/BPO industry trends, strategies, competitors and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations – Will also include diving into Procurement areas Claims, IT etc

Supplier Management Support – Support the Offshore Strategy Manager on monitoring supplier performance against contractual terms and conditions, assess supplier financial health and develop risk mitigation plans for critical and preferred suppliers.

Logistics Support – Advise and Plan Site Visits, Assessment & Readiness.

YOU ARE GOOD AT

1. Handling large sets of data and consolidation into logical tables/sheets etc. (in Excel)

2. Providing synthesis and packaging of results (e.g. Excel Data Analysis, creating charts and visuals based on data, Client Ready Power Point Presentations)

3.Dashboarding of data in PowerBI

4. Providing customized knowledge for business, preparing accurate, well-developed documents and chart.

5. Problem solving using creative methods

6. Delivering original analysis and insights to team and providing thought partnership.

7. Liaising with senior stakeholders and providing insights valuable to business decisions 8. Executing and coordinating complex research requests

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/B.Com/BBS/BBA) required from Tier (IITs, NITs, Delhi University) and Tier II Universities.

Up to 3 years post Bachelor’s/Masters work experience in Analytics/Advisory/Consulting, exposure to IT or BPO services would be valued.

Intermediate/Advanced skills for data analysis on tools like Excel

Proficient in Dashboarding (Power BI preferred)

Experience of converting insights and analysis into client ready presentations (MS PowerPoint) and work pieces

Experience of drawing up IT/BPO related analysis and insights (e.g. analysis rates, benchmarks, FTEs etc.) would be valued.

You’ll report into Vice President – Offshore Strategy Manager for Global Business Services (GBS) Offshore team within Procurement. Our research and data analysts collaborate with global colleagues across Liberty Mutual to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our business. Our team is made up of a diverse pool of individuals with expertise in analytics, dashboarding, contract analysis and transition management.
