OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will help us in determining financial outcomes by collecting functional data/reports while conducting analysis and accommodating transactions.
• The Record to Report team assists clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close, and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements. The areas where this team’s expertise lies are in posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing monetary forecasting statements, supporting month-end closing, planning reports, and supporting audits.
• In Journal Entry Processing, you will be responsible for delivering a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry, and reporting as well as dynamic allocations and the administration of responsibilities and expenditures.

Responsibilities/Authorities

a. In this role, you will analyze and solve moderately complex problems.

b. You will typically be creating new solutions and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.

c. The role requires a clear understanding of the strategic direction set by the senior management relating to team goals.

d. You will need to hold monthly significant conversations with team members to discuss performance, coaching, feedback, training needs, and career discussions

e. You will need to monitor & drive team performance, including throughput and quality as per defined metrics.

f. Your primary upward interaction will be with a direct supervisor or team leader.

g. You will generally interact with peers and/or management levels with clients or internal stakeholders

h. You will be provided minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.

i. Decisions you make will often impact your team and occasionally, other teams as well.

j. You would be managing medium-small sized teams and/or working with clients or within the company.

k. Please note that this role will require you to work night shifts.
