LSEG Design is growing. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our multi-disciplinary team working work on professional financial & risk platforms, products and services across web, desktop and mobile with a specific focus on our finance communities.
We shape sophisticated financial data into strategies, tools, and experiences that our customers need and value. Our users rely on our products to deliver real-time, highly complex information in a way that they need, when they need it. This is delivered via desktop, mobile and web. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Designer, you will:

• Work alongside and under the guidance of a Design Principal and other members of your design squad, following SAFe, Lean and Agile product design methodologies
• Follow best practice and relevant design methodologies and processes, working across all stages of the product lifecycle from discovery, through define and to build
• Create new and innovative design solutions that address the very particular needs of our users
• Refine and improve existing designs
• Follow the use of and contribute to our Design System.

• Develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviours, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all designs
• Work on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends
• Drive significant projects, programs, and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity
• Identify work priorities based on general direction from managers
• Provide specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues

• Demonstrate clear prioritisation and planning for activities to ensure timely delivery

About you:
As a Senior Product Designer, you will:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role and able to show evidence of how brand affects the approach to product design
• Passion for a clean and purposeful design

• The ability to translate high-level product requirements into experiences that our users deserve
• Comfortable with embracing our design system in everything you do, both using and contributing to its evolution and ideally have experience designing or defining design systems
• Strong design, collaboration, and communication skills with evidence of guiding as a senior designer. Be able to contribute at a team level
• A degree in a relevant subject, or can show how you’ve built up your experience and skills over time ‘on-the-job’
• Knowledge of professional financial design is a bonus, but you will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of crafting successful user experiences that met business and user needs for complex domains
