Full Job Description
Your responsibility as a Database Administration (DBA) will be the performance, integrity and security of Enterprise Databases. Follows standard procedures in carrying out tasks and proactively prevents/resolve issues that may affect services and provides reactive support and guidance. Manages database backup and recoverability operations and maintains general availability of database services and its underlying infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Assist and respond promptly to Incident, investigate and provide resolutions for operational or escalated incidents.Monitor and measure the performance & availability of database proactivelyMonitor & deliver the agreed service level, document and maintain the configuration of the databaseManages database health, patch update, security and access control policiesExamines the logical structures and improve performance of current systemsPresents, analysis and evaluates data clear and concisely.Actively taking care of the ticketing system and work with the Request and Change tickets to deliver them as required.
Experience and Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT related disciplineDBA experience ( MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase)Linux OS and Shell scripting knowledgeKnowledge in AWS, Oracle Cloud, Postgres would be an added advantageCertification on OCA will be an added advantageGood listening skills and attention to detailProblem-solving and good analytical skillsGood organizational skills with written and verbal communication skills
