Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Business Analyst Data Discovery to uncover insights from raw

data, define business logic, and support data-driven decision-making. This role requires

a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and SQL expertise to explore, interpret,

and validate data. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and data,

ensuring accurate data definitions and meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data discovery and exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, and

anomalies.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define

business logic for data models and reporting.

• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from various sources.

• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to define and maintain clean,

structured data.

• Translate business needs into data-driven solutions, ensuring accuracy and

consistency.

• Create data documentation, including definitions, data lineage, and business

rules.

• Identify gaps and inconsistencies in datasets and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role.

• Strong SQL skills for querying, validation, and transformation.

• Experience with data exploration and identifying key business insights.

• Ability to define and implement business logic in data processes.

• Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL processes.

• Strong communication skills to bridge technical teams and business

stakeholders.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is beneficial
