Job Description:

Primary Skills: Warehouse architecting, designing and implementation,

Azure Synapse, ADF, Safe Agile

Secondary Skills: Data quality, privacy and governance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain the data architecture , with a focus on leveraging Azure Synapse capabilities for data warehousing, analytics, and data integration.

2. Possess a deep understanding of Azure Synapse features and functionalities, including data storage, data processing, data pipelines, and integration with other Azure services.

3. Develop and manage data models, ensuring they meet business requirements and are optimized for performance and scalability.

4. Design and implement data integration solutions using Azure Synapse, including data pipelines, data transformation, and data movement.

5. Monitor and optimize the performance of data solutions, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.

6. Implement data governance and data security best practices to ensure data quality, compliance, and data privacy.

7. Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, architects from other teams and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

8. Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data architecture, data models, and data integration processes.

9. Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture, particularly in the context of Azure Synapse.

10. Do coding to help expedite delivery, set coding standards, review code, test cases, test results, guide the team members towards a common goal and lead the team from the front.

11. Excellent communication skills, proactively and effectively communicate status, metrics, risks, issues on a regular basis to the stakeholders

12, Participate in the architect meetings, provide expertise, give demos to the stakeholders

13. Work as a member of the scrum team and participate in the various ceremonies PI Planning, grooming, estimation, planning, drafting and verifying technical user stories and acceptance criteria
