Job Description: Store Manager, Luna Books (Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad)

At Luna, you will have the opportunity to work in a small but high-quality, independent bookstore, with a small team of curators and booksellers who are passionate about their work.

The Store Manager at Luna will oversee the daily operations of the bookstore. We expect the following:

1. Deliver excellent Customer Service: Always prioritize customers and provide professional service, with patience and unfailing courteousness. You should be familiar with the store layout, sections and shelving organization and should be able to provide information and/or assistance when requested by a customer.

2. Ensure that high standards are maintained in the store: Ensuring that the store premises are comfortable, and that safety and compliance standards are maintained.

3. Supervise daily maintenance activity: Supervise the maintenance staff that is responsible for the daily upkeep of the store premises and ensure that we maintain a clean, organized, and attractive interior.

4. Billing: Be responsible for all billing and checkout activity. This includes greeting customers at the checkout desk, handling and billing books appropriately and accurately, handling money and receipts correctly, verbalizing transactions, communicating store policies as needed, etc.

We will need you to be able to demonstrate the following:

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to handle payments in multiple modes and the ability to troubleshoot
• Comfort with operating a computer – familiarity with MS Office is a must.
• Excellent communication skills, with a cheerful personality
• Prior experience with retail operations is a plus

Salary: Up to Rs 50,000 p.m depending on credentials and prior experience.

Store Hours: 11am to 7pm, Tuesdays-Sundays, with Mondays off. You will be required to work 6 days a week. Some flexibility will be available.

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
