Our Customer is a Leading Security firm in Korea for which we are implementing Murex 3.1 as its new Front Office system.
We are the sole partner of the Murex Vendor on the project and thus our team is in charge of implementing reporting and interface requirements as well as planning and executing the data migration.

Responsibilities

Act as the subject matter expert for Front Office area for the Murex Implementation ProjectWork closely with Front Office users of the client to understand the requirements from themResolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricingLiaise with the technical team(s) – when needed – to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancementsDevelop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along: Yield Curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation, Products (All asset Classes but especially equity Derivatives) management and validationManage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverablesContribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issuesAnalyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverablesPerform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Client, Vendor & Testing team.Contribute to the User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentationsFollow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs/issuesEnsure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to the relevant teams
Skills

Must have

5+ Years of Murex Experience with focus around the Front office Business Area and FO modules including curves, market data, e-tradepad, pretradesImplementation ExperienceVery Strong product knowledge in EQ including derivatives, IRD including bonds, FXD, FXMM, FXO, CRD, COMVery strong understanding of Equity retail businessVery Strong understanding of the P&L concept overall and its componentsVery Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life CycleKnowledge of Contract Workflow, OSP and Integration module (Workflow Exchange, Mxml)Teamwork: works effectively with others; helps to build strong teams and networks.Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong relationship building skills both internally and externallyStrong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issuesPossess good verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong organization skills
